On Monday, January 30, 2012, at 8:30 A.M., Prosecuting Attorney Keith M. Kaneshiro of the Department of Prosecuting Attorney of the City and County of Honolulu testfied before the House Human Services Committee in support of House Bill 2190 (requires suspected financial abuse of a minor to be reported to law enforcement), House Bill 2192 (enhanced penalties for financial exploitation of dependent elders), House Bill 2350 (Honolulu Prosecutor bill for appropriation for department to establish a family justice center), and House Bill 2351 Honolulu Prosecutor bill that appropriates funds to the Judicary to get 2 more judges to oversee domestic violence cases because there is congestion in the domestic violence courts).
