Lieutenant Governor Brian Schatz


I want to thank my former colleague in the Hawaii State House of Representatives, Lieutenant Governor Brian Schatz for taking me out to lunch at Cafe Julia in downtown Honolulu today, November 9, 2012 at 12:00 P.M. I look forward to working with him on future projects.

Human Trafficking Meeting


On Friday, November 9, 2012, from 10 A.M. to 11:30 A.M., I along with our legislative team: Honolulu Deputy Prosecuting Attorney Tricia Nakamatsu and Victim Witness Director Dennis Dunn met with Hawaii State Senator Suzanne Chun Oakland and representatives of human trafficking advocacy organizations, and attorneys from the Hawaii State Attorney General regarding human trafficking at the Hawaii State Capitol. Dennis and Tricia have become my good friends. I am so honored to be able to work with them day in and day out!

Dinner with Hawaii State Representative Clift Tsuji, Jolene Lau of the USDA and her daughter, and Shin Ho of Ho Farms


At about 7:30 P.M. on Thursday, November 8, 2012, I met my former colleague – Hawaii State Representative Clift Tsuji, Jolene Lau of the USDA and her daughter, and Shin Ho of Ho Farms at P.F. Chang’s Restaurant in Kaka’ako. I am wishing Rep. Tsuji a quick recovery from the injuries he got from his fall.

Blessing of Ala Kuola


Honolulu Deputy Prosecuting Attorney Tricia Nakamatsu, head of Ala Kuola, Ed Flores, and Honolulu Deputy Prosecuting Attorney Jon Riki Karamatsu.

On Thursday, November 8, 2012 from 11:30 A.M., I attended the blessing of Ala Kuola in Honolulu that services people who need temporary restraining orders and other services. I am with Honolulu Deputy Prosecuting Attorney Tricia Nakamatsu and Executive Director of Ala Kuola, Ed Flores.
