I am thinking of all the great leaders of Hawaii who passed away in the last month in a half and are two generations above mine, my mentor & friend Senator Nadao “Najo” Yoshinaga, Senator Stanley Hara and Representative Jack Suwa. They were all friends of my late grandpa Maurice Karamatsu.
Although, I did not know them, my well wishes for Mayor Frank Fasi and Congressman Cecil Heftel.
