Former Hawaii Senate President Norman Mizuguchi and I on the Hawaii Senate floor on the opening of the 2014 Hawaii Legislative Session on Wednesday, January 14, 2014. President Mizuguchi was friends with my late grandpa Maurice Karamatsu who passed away in 1992.
