Dr. Paul Kalanithi, a neurosurgeon, neuroscientist, and author.
To inspire us to work hard with urgency, I linked the Stanford Medicine video on Paul Kalinithi, a neurosurgeon, neuroscientist, and author who became famous by his book, When Breath Becomes Air. So many great people have left this world too soon. Yet, they’ve left a huge impact in the short time they lived. Paul was one of these people. If he was still alive, he would be achieving even more amazing things, and my younger sister Mia would be a colleague of his at Stanford Medicine. Maybe, I would have the opportunity to eventually meet him. Although he’s gone, he’s not. He motivates us to live fully. His beautiful words keep him alive in our lives. I’m wearing my 2020 Honolulu Marathon finisher shirt and medal! The race was virtual in December 2020 due to Covid-19. I love the teal colors, my campaign colors when I was a politician. Running outdoors is my favorite exercise. It’s a great way to relieve stress, sadness, and anxiety. I’m going to wear this shirt today as I undergo my work sessions on my latest project that I’m excited to work on every day! Have a great day! ❤
