For example, when someone praises you, you disqualify it by telling yourself, “They’re just being nice.” Or when you perform well, you tell yourself, “I was just lucky” or “That was a fluke.” No, don’t do this. Instead, love yourself for your effort and abilities. You got yourself to where you are because of you, the good qualities that you have.
